CODY

Am & Can Ch. Donegan's Dennis the Menace  (July 1, 1993 - August 2, 2007)

Cody arrived at our home as a three year old, a gift from Renette Berggren (Cairncross) and Cindy Lloyd (Skyline), flying to us from Colorado to keep Molly company.

To say every day with him was a joy, is an understatement.  He never asked for anything, other that he be loved, and that was so easy to do.  He loved us, and everyone he met.  He never was sick a day of his fourteen years, and had a cast-iron stomach.  He was a champion when he arrived, and Laura put his Canadian title on by going Winners Male at the '97 National and Best of Winners at the B.C. Specialty the next day.  His last points for that title was a Group Three in the Sporting Group.  Cody helped raise a baby Sophie, and the Irish Setter Club of Colorado calendar has a picture of her sticking her head in his very patient mouth.  Still one of our favorite photos. He had such beautiful movement and we loved watching him trot around the yard, with such correct tail carriage...he would stop and pose himself, never a foot out of place.  He loved helping the girls scatter the birds from the feeder, but otherwise had no interest in them.  Cats were a different story, however!

We all miss you, Code-Man.  I hope Molly and Gracie were there at the Bridge to greet you - no fighting with Caleb! We'll see you when we get there.

Marlyn Charisma "Gracie"

April 8th, 1996 ~ June 11th, 2003

Despite severe health issues her entire short life, she gave us much joy and inspiration. Imbedded in that  delicate little body was the heart of a tiger, she played hard and fast with unwavering enthusiasm until the end; "Where's your ball Gracie".

With love always,

Jon & Laura ~ Don & Marilyn

Mi Jeans Fire and Desire, C.G.C. “Caleb” with 9 points

 November 28th, 1991 ~ August 25th, 2001

Truly a wonderful and gentle soul, whose time with us was much too short He will be deeply missed by all he touched and forever in our hearts.

With love always,

Jon & Laura ~ Don & Marilyn
