Purchaser agrees that said canine on page 01 would be purchased under a co-ownership with the breeder/seller.

Purchaser agrees to provide the animal with the following: Regular Veterinarian care, to be kept and maintained for at the home of the purchaser, to use the recommended food and supplements by the breeder/seller, proper care, proper shelter and a fenced yard.

If for any reason at any time the purchaser is in breech of this contract or the canine must be placed in a new home, said canine on page 01 would be returned immediately at no cost to the breeder/seller.

If sold as companion-pet canine, purchaser agrees that said canine on page 01 of the purchase and sale agreement would be registered with the AKC with a limited registration status. Purchaser also agrees to spay or neuter said canine at the appropriate time recommended by your Veterinarian.

If sold as show canine, purchaser agrees and fully understands that there is no guarantee that canine will complete its AKC, CKC championships or any other titles.

If sold as show canine, purchaser agrees and fully understands, there will be no guarantee on the number of wins at the class, breed, group or show level.

Purchaser agrees and fully understands that under a co-ownership with the breeder/seller, said canine of page 01 cannot be sold or bred too with out the written permission of the co-owner breeder/seller.

At the expense of the purchaser, by a state board licensed Veterinarian the owner shall have Seventy-two hour period to have the canine examined. Upon satisfactory health findings, the canine shall be guaranteed for fourteen days. If the health is found unsatisfactory in writing by a state board licensed Veterinarian, the canine may be returned for a full refund of the purchase price. Any and all other expenses shall be the purchaser’s responsibility.

Purchaser, with in a seventy-two hour period may return said canine on page 01 for any condition other than specified in the above paragraph for a partial refund. Purchaser will surrender or be charged a $250.00 fee in US funds, which would be deducted from the purchase price.

Replacement is guaranteed should the canine develop the following: Progressive retinal atrophy, hip dysplasia or any other congenital defect. Request for replacement at the expense of the purchaser, shall be in writing accompanied by a written statement of diagnoses from two separate state board licensed Veterinarians. In the event replacement is necessary; it shall occur from the first litter bred or any litter mutually agreed upon by both parties. Replacement canine may or may not be of same sex or age. Purchaser agrees that the original canine shall be returned to seller or handled in some other manner suitable to seller in order for replacement to be effective. If sold as show canine, and purchaser chooses to keep said canine on page 01, purchaser will be refunded the difference between the show price and the pet-companion price in US funds.

Purchaser will be responsible for any and all costs associated with shipping canine from seller to purchaser.

Purchaser agrees to purchase said canine on page 01, by personal check (to be received 5 business days prior to receipt of canine), cashier’s check or cash in US funds, less deposit if applicable in the amount of $x.xx. Payment is due in full upon receipt of canine.

Purchaser agrees to leave a separate check in the amount determined by AKC, payable to the AKC for the transfer of ownership. The breeder/seller will be responsible to mail the signed paper work to the AKC.

This agreement is made by both the purchaser and the seller to assure the health and well being of this canine. It is also to assure the continued soundness and quality of the Irish Setter Breed. No part of this contract is negotiable and/or transferable.

By signing this contract, purchaser acknowledges they have read and fully understand the above and accept this contract with no reservations in its entirety.
